The James Austin Jr. Trio performs “Songs in the Key of Wonder & More”. This show will be a mix of James’ tasteful arrangements of Stevie Wonder tunes along with jazz standards. James will be joined by Phillip Tipton (drums) and Peter Gemus (bass).

Born in Chicago and raised in a music-loving household, James Austin Jr. was immersed in the sounds of jazz and gospel from an early age. These soulful roots are evident in his playing style, which blends gospel warmth with jazz sophistication. James began formal piano training in his youth and quickly demonstrated a talent for music that would shape his future.
